Wushu Warrior came to us in a round about way. My agent had spoken to producer Suzanne Girard about a project and she saw my showreel and hired us to do the opening credits for a film she produced in China and Quebec.

One of the challenges was to address the lack of knowledge of Chinese history that was needed to understand the situation at the opening of the film.

Since I have another project that involves a lot of Chinese history I was the right person to put this together and with Frame studio as a partner we hired a girl in LA who does Chinese painting and had her create the illustrations in a traditional Chinese style which became the basis for the piece.
