I’m currently working on the concept work for a CG sequence (to be produced by Ghost) for Hellboy 2 directed by Guillermo Del Toro
The first two days of shooting are done. 4 more to go. We are getting amazing material and I have a feeling this might be a very, very good first feature film - we’ll see...
Félicia Schulman and Dan Bierne in the story Mum and Pup.
Next up are Martin Laroche and Julie le Breton - starting in a week and a half.
Friday the 16th I’m shooting a commercial for Recyc-Québec. Watch out - it is going to be “something else”.
Next up is Bedtime stories - a series of improvised shorts. Shooting begins end of November until the third week of December - very exciting.

I just got back from a great weekend in St. Anne-des-Monts where Maria Sheriff and I created our first collaborative sculpture in driftwood. It is a moving water totem - immediately christened “Lucky Luc”....and so begins my career as a sculpturer ;-)
The Rip-Off won the Prends Ça Court/Global Magnetic Award tonight in Montreal. A big thank-you to Danny Lennon from Prends Ça Court! for taking such good care of Montreal short film makers
I just got news that I will be going to Short Shorts in Japan to present “The Rip-Off” (Jun 26 to Jul 3) - So exciting!...Japan has always been a country I wanted to see.
The Rip Off will be part of the 60th Cannes Film Festival and will be presented in the “Short Film Corner”
From Qui Fait Quoi.
The Acting for Directors Class with Judith
I just finished two amazing classes in NYC with Judith Weston - learning about acting and directing. Watch out, the people on these pictures you might see at the Oscars in a couple of years.
Dimitris Athos and me, both full of champagne.
12 Bottles of champagne!!!
Be Underground in NYC was a big success for the Rip-Off. The film was selected for a special HBO screening on the 15th floor overlooking NY and eventually won the 3rd price in the Narrative category (12 bottles of Champagne!). I will have to add this to the awards part of the site soon.
After a long time - life drawing again. I was a bit rusty but it was fun

My producer Antonello Cozzolino will be in Dresden with The Rip-Off at the short film festival 17-22 April. http://www.filmfest-dresden.de/
A concept that I did for a Danish Corporate video - for a company called Ghost - check them out at Ghost.dk.
After tons of people asking me about my website I finally decided to invest in IWeb from Apple (You might notice the “discreet” “Made on a Mac” on the bottom of each of these pages. I just wanted something simple that wasn’t going to make me spend eons of time updating my site. It’s a little less cool than I wanted, but a lot easier to use - and less of a time-stealer. Imagine in a total of about 5 hours I have a totally functioning website - How cool is that.
Here’s a drawing I’m working on in Photoshop...it is work in progress. I’ll post it in the personal projects under the drawings tab once it is finished
Richard Lemire, Michel Perron and Elyzabeth Walling in the Rip-Off
Finally!...after tons of festivals and lots of people loving the film we won an award
Jean-Jacques Tremblay, Raphael Lacoste and Kun Chang
We were nominated two times for Outstanding Pre-Rendered Visuals with our work from Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. We ended up winning for the Balcony Sequence - it is in the film-clip section. Here’s a bunch of happy fellows holding some heavy trophies.
